Services

At LCC, we offer a variety of services based on our patient’s needs. It is our goal to have many tools in our belt to help each patient with their specific needs. Here is a brief overview of the services we offer:

  • Chiropractic Examination
    • What we find on your history, exam, and x-rays will determine the type of treatment you will need at LCC.
  • Digital X-Ray
    • Our X-Ray machine is in-house so you don’t have to go to an imaging facility. We can review your x-rays as soon as we take them.
  • Chiropractic Adjustments
    • What needs to be adjusted is determined by your chiropractic physician. The method of adjustment also depends on you and your body. There are a variety of different techniques and instruments that can be used.
  • Medical Massage Therapy
    • This is performed by a licensed massage therapist. Medical massage is massage therapy prescribed by a physician and the medical massage performed following the directives of that physician. It is outcome-based and targeted directly at your specific problem(s). Medical massage can be used to promote circulation, increase flexibility, and prevent muscle adhesions within soft tissue.
  • Electrotherapy
    • Electrotherapy is a modality which uses small electrical impulses to repair tissue, decrease pain, stimulate muscles, decrease inflammation, increase sensations, and muscle strength.
  • Spinal Decompression Therapy
    • Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a type of motorized traction that helps relieve cervical or lumbar pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine—this changes the force and position of the spine. This helps take pressure off the disc—which are gel-like cushions between each vertebrae. Over time, this treatment may cause bulging or herniated disks to retract—taking pressure off the nerves and other structures in your spine. This helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal.
  • Full Spine and Extremity Rehabilitation Programs
    • e can help you strengthen and increase flexibility in your muscles to help get rid of pain. Strong muscles rarely cause pain.
  • Flexion-Distraction Technique
    • This is a safe, gentle chiropractic treatment utilized for low back pain. The technique uses both flexion and traction of the lumbar spine to promote disc healing, relieve pressure from nerve roots and stretch lumbar muscles.
  • Hydrotherapy
    • Hydrotherapy promotes relaxation of muscles and increases circulation. Water has a soothing, calming, and relaxing effect on your muscles and can prepare you for your adjustment.
  • Kinesiotape
    • This is a tape that when applied to injured or overworked muscles can help alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, take the tension off of muscles, enhance performance, provide support, and aid in rehabilitation.
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound
    • Ultrasound can help speed up the healing process, decrease pain, and reduce swelling and edema to an area. It is the gold standard for tendonitis, bursitis, and many other types of injuries.
